So we finally kinda got a Celestia episode. · 12:47am Apr 29th, 2018
And it was glorious.
Luckily I was able to squeeze it in on my 30-min break.
That was the best break I've had in awhile.

This is a blog post with things and words, and I stuff. So if you hate things and words then, I don't know, don't read it.
This episode was a blast, not even kidding. Check below for my thoughts!
Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria…
As has been widely commented, the mention of Celestia’s “ones-versary” in Horse Play provides a unique reference point to fix the Equestrian calendar. We now know Twilight’s school was up and running 1111 years after Celestia first raised the sun. We could question whether Pinkie Pie is a reliable source, but taken at face value it sets the scale of Equestrian history.
YAY! Celestia episode! I'm down for it as long as we get to see more of our favorite Princess of the Sun!
Wow, way to make Celestia feel old...
Interesting title...Let's get on with it.
Heh. Pretty amusing seeing Celestia prance around like a filly.
...Celestia is gonna try to act...this is gonna be bad. I seriously believe so.
Well, I can at least give Celestia credit for being honest about her acting experience, or lack thereof. *sigh* This is gonna be painful to watch.
So... as those who read the summary of Chapters of a Revamped Tome know, my AU in general is meant to retool parts not only of the animated series (both My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls), but also certain parts of expanded media elements.
She governs one of the most powerful nations in the world. She ensures the continued survival of the entire planet. She has thwarted some of the greatest mages and monstrosities in the world.
But can she act?

LIFE POINTS: 8000
Uh-oh, an ep about Celestia... I still have an unwanted Cartoon crush on her, and it's usually hard for me to scorn her, but if I have to... so be it.
1,111 times she's raised the sun... much as I find Pinkie Pie's idea annoying, at least we now have narrowed the field of Celestia's true age. So I can't penalize this...
-No Damage
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
Because Deviantart randomly decided to nuke them from my Stash. I had them saved in there, now there's only Part 1 left anymore.....
I can't tell when they will come now, as I don't have time to try and remember all of it and then write it down again this week.
And I'm currently too frustrated by it that I lost everything I've written to write it again, so Part 2 and Part 3 are delayed until whenever I am able to do that.
So, after my initial review of "Horse Play" and steaming my brain with the thoughts Celestia's Onesversary brought up in me, here are my afterthoughts on it..... Which I had to split into three parts, this episode is an unexpected goldmine of interesting things to dig through!
Here is Part 1 of them:
"Horse Play" aired and with it, the Student Six returned onto the screen! And even though they were confined to the background, this episode got me very excited because of something else:
Thanks to Pinkie Pie, we got informed how long ago it was exactly since Celestia raised the sun for the first time!

I know that sitting-just-behind-someone's-shoulder-and-talking-to-them-feel, Tia. I too do it on purpose to mess with people.
Pinkie Poppins.
Nice detailed eyeroll!
